Job summary

EY’s Government Contract Services (GCS) team helps clients navigate the lifecycle of U.S. Government contracts and grants, including pricing, cost accounting, and audit readiness.

The Manager will lead engagements, supervise teams of 2–10, and develop practical recommendations to manage compliance and performance. The role emphasizes strong communication, deep regulatory knowledge (FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200) and the ability to build client relationships, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 5 to 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Possess at least one professional designation, such as CPA, CFE, CFA.
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200 and prevailing wage requirements.
• Ability to interpret government acquisition and labor standards regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead engagement teams of 2–10 resources.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements throughout the government contracting lifecycle.
• Manage workstreams and supervise team members.
• Analyze complex financial and operational data and develop practical recommendations.
• Help clients assess compliance risks and respond to audits.
• Improve processes supporting pricing, estimating, billing and contract administration.
