Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools seeks a Terminal Agency Clerk (TAC) to ensure GCIC/NCIC compliance, certify terminal operators, and liaise with GCIC/NCIC and GBI. Reporting to the Office Supervisor, this role administers certification and training programs and secures terminal access.

Key duties include coordinating equipment access, training new users, preparing audits, maintaining procedures manuals, and ensuring CJIS compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative services and office management experience.
• GCIC/NCIC certification preferred, or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Valid Georgia driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates access for GCIC/NCIC terminals and printers; monitors usage and enforces system policies.
• Provides training and testing for GCIC/NCIC users and recertification.
• Prepares for GBI/FBI audits; assembles supporting documentation and responds to inquiries; enforces corrections.
• Maintains GCIC/NCIC procedures manuals; distributes updates and training materials.
• Manages office systems; plans policies; supervises staff; analyzes reports and trends.
• Travel to off-site locations as needed.
