Fogo de Chão in Gilbert, Alabama is hiring a Gaucho Chef to showcase the restaurant’s traditional Brazilian churrasco cooking and hospitality. You will prepare and grill meats, maintain the grill area, and help guests understand our gaucho culture.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand long hours, work weekends and holidays, and keep pace in a busy kitchen. Full-time hourly team members receive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits.

Formación

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook special cuts of beef and other meats according to traditional Brazilian churrasco recipes.
• Season and grill food according to prescribed traditional method and guests' requests.
• Portion, garnish and present to patron in style of gaucho.
• Answer guests' questions concerning churrasco and convey gaucho culture.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill area.
• Complete any beginning or closing shift duties.
