Job summary

Leidos Defense is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to join the Systems Integration and Test Team. You will work with customers and contractors to implement tests, build HWIL platforms, and analyze data to verify performance across complex sensor and defense systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution, plus the ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds. US citizenship and an active secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in computer/electrical/computer engineering with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years.
• Experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration and testing.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional travel for test events (~4 weeks/year).
• US Citizenship and active secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
• Create, modify, and use HWIL test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
• Perform test data analysis via log parser, Wireshark, and debugging tools.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Create, modify, and execute test plans and procedures.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
