Job summary

Leidos Defense is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer in Huntsville to support defense programs across land, sea, air, and space. You will work directly with customers and contractors to execute requirements and develop HWIL test platforms.

Requirements include ABET‑accredited BS in an engineering field with 4+ years experience (MS with 2+ years also acceptable), US Citizenship with active secret clearance, and willingness to travel up to four weeks yearly.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited BS in engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years.
• Knowledge of defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Willingness to travel up to four weeks per year and lift up to 50 pounds.
• US Citizenship and active secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and contractors to execute program requirements.
• Create, modify, and use HWIL test platforms to satisfy testing needs.
• Perform test data analysis via data log parsers, Wireshark, or debugging tools.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Create, modify, and execute test plans and procedures to satisfy requirements.
• Complete verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
