Job summary

Leidos Defense, Systems Integration and Test Team in Huntsville, AL seeks an Integration and Test Engineer to support diverse defense programs. You will work directly with customers and contractors to implement requirements, develop HWIL test platforms, and perform data analysis and debugging to verify system performance.

Qualified candidates have a BS in engineering or related field with 4+ years experience (or Masters with 2+ years), knowledge of test practices, hands-on integration skills,

Qualifications

• ABET accredited BS degree in computer/ electrical/ systems engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience, or a Masters in a relevant field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience in defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors as needed; travel ~4 weeks/year.
• U.S. Citizenship and active secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
• Create, modify, and use Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.
• Perform test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debugging tools.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Create, modify, and execute test plans and procedures to satisfy program requirements.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
