Leidos Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to join our Systems Integration and Test Team. You will create and execute test plans for complex defense platforms, verify requirements, and report results.

Must have US Citizenship, DoD Secret clearance eligibility, ABET B.S. in CE/CS/EE with 2+ years or Master’s in related field, and willingness to travel up to 4 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience or a Master’s degree in related field.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Familiarity with tracking test results, defects, and verification evidence.
• Resident of North Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville area; US Citizenship required with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute test plans to satisfy program requirements.
• Complete verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results and data.
• Possible travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks per year).
