Job summary

Leidos Defense, Systems Integration and TestTeam in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Test Engineer to develop, modify, and execute test plans across development, qualification, and acceptance phases for hardware projects. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS degree in engineering with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
• Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to work full-time in Huntsville, AL and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel ~4 weeks per year.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.
• Create, modify, and execute environmental testing on system and component level hardware.
• Complete verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Perform test data analysis and generate test reports.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Collaborate with the customer and other support personnel.
