The role requires managing a large staff and achieving KPI targets across DHL facilities. The position emphasizes policy development, regulatory compliance, and coordination with customs officials to resolve delays while maintaining security requirements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 3-5 years’ experience in related field, including supervisory experience.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
• Access to secured airport areas; must obtain SIDA badge and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates customs clearance activities in the gateway environment efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Establishes and revises policies, procedures and service standards for customs clearance operations.
• Ensures compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing shipments and documentation.
