Responsibilities

• Communicate preoperative, operative, and postoperative information to patients.
• Collaborate with OR and procedural areas to align schedules.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization and referrals.
• Maintain accurate patient information in the EMR and scheduling systems.
• Identify barriers and escalate to ensure timely surgery progression.
• Handle changes, cancellations, and rescheduling of procedures.
