Concord Hospital is seeking a Practice Surgical Scheduler for our Gastroenterology team. The role supports scheduling of surgical procedures, coordinates with facilities, and ensures accurate documentation in the EMR.

A clinical background is preferred, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential 4-day week after training. Reporting to Practice Manager, this position emphasizes patient interaction, coordination with providers, and adherence to guidelines while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; associates or nursing degree desirable.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant experience considered.
• Military medical training with related experience acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Screen calls and triage patient concerns per guidelines.
• Interview patients and review medications, allergies, and history.
• Enter information into the EMR accurately and timely.
• Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures with facilities.
• Maintain relationships with outside offices and hospital departments.
• Ensure all paperwork and testing are completed per protocol.
