Job summary

Village Medical in Clifton, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse to support patient care and ensure a positive patient experience. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and convey essential information about services and procedures.

The role involves assisting with medication administration, phlebotomy, basic diagnostic duties, and maintaining a clean, ready treatment area. Spanish speaking is a plus; BLS is preferred, with eligibility within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and prepares the patient for their appointment and informs them about required information.
• Receives and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Performs PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider.
• Conducts point-of-care tests, EKGs, phlebotomy and related duties.
• Cleans, prepares, and maintains treatment rooms and equipment.
• Provides patient education on medications and diet and assists with visit setup.
