Job summary

Village Medical in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient support and facilitate an exceptional patient experience. You will welcome patients, inform them about services, and assist during visits.

The role includes administering medications under provider direction, performing point-of-care tests, phlebotomy, vital signs, and preparing rooms. The team emphasizes collaborative, compassionate care and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and communication to build patient satisfaction and loyalty.
• Welcome and prepare patients for their appointment and inform them of services.
• Perform PO/IM/ID medications as directed, following vaccine/medication administration rights.
• Conduct point-of-care labs, EKGs, suture removal, dressing changes, and other care tasks.
• Collect and document vitals, histories, and screenings; instruct patients on medications and diet.
• Authorize prescription refills as directed; prepare rooms and supplies for visits.
• Perform phlebotomy and process specimens; maintain clean treatment areas.
• Conduct quality checks and equipment maintenance.
