Job summary

Village Medical is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to support a range of primary care and urgent care services in New Jersey. The RN will perform medications administration, phlebotomy, EKGs, and routine patient assessments in a team-based setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have a High School diploma, and are open to on-site hours with a focus on compassionate patient care. BLS within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license to practice in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience is required; BLS preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates kindness and compassion in all patient interactions.
• Prepares and administers PO, IM, and ID medications as directed by the Provider, using Rights of Vaccine or Medication Administration.
• Performs point-of-care labs, EKGs, sutures and dressings as ordered.
• Collects and documents vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Provides instruction to patients regarding medications and diet.
• Authorizes prescription refills as directed.
• Prepares patients, room, and supplies for visits or examinations.
• Performs phlebotomy and correctly processes specimens.
• Cleans and maintains treatment rooms and equipment; conducts quality checks.
