Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient support and clear communication, ensuring an exceptional patient experience from arrival to discharge. You will welcome patients, prepare them for their visit, and inform them about required services and next steps.

Responsibilities include administering medications under provider direction, performing point-of-care tests and EKGs, drawing blood, documenting vital signs and histories, and educating patients on medications and diet.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments and communicate required visit information.
• Assist with administering medications and vaccines as directed by the Provider.
• Perform point-of-care tests and EKGs, plus phlebotomy and related tasks.
• Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Provide patient education on medications and diet.
• Support teamwork in a physician-led, patient-centric network.
