Qualifications

• Board Certification (or Eligibility) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with growth management ability.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high–quality GI care as a key clinical provider.
• Take thorough histories, perform exams, and interpret labs/imaging/pathology.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with meds and lifestyle advice.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs for screening/diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate EMRs and support patient safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease prevention.
• Engage in CME and clinical practice improvement.
