Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Board-certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a Nassau County, Long Island, NY practice. This physician-led group emphasizes clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The role involves outpatient GI care, colonoscopies/EGDs, and a high-volume patient base with strong EMR support. Competitive compensation and leadership opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (or eligible) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed or eligible for New York State licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality gastroenterology care as a key clinical provider.
• Conduct history, physicals, and interpret labs/imaging/pathology.
• Manage a high-volume outpatient GI practice in a multi-specialty group.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with meds and lifestyle changes.
• Perform and interpret colonoscopies and EGDs for GI pathology.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for patient safety.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
