Unknown Group, a well-established physician-led practice in Nassau County, Long Island, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a growing team.

The role offers flexible hours, Monday-Friday, with no on-call duties, and a focus on outpatient GI care within a multi-specialty group. Candidates should be eligible for New York licensure and bring a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed or eligible for New York licensure.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered approach.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow and manage a patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive GI care.
• Conduct thorough history, exams, and diagnostics.
• Outpatient-focused role in a multi-specialty group.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders (IBD, IBS, liver disease, biliary disorders).
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGD.
• Maintain EMRs and support safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease management.
• Pursue ongoing medical education.
