Qualifications

• Active Board Certification (or Board Eligibility with a clear path to certification) in Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care.
• Proven ability to grow a local GI practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, comprehensive gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough history-taking, exams, and interpretation of labs/imaging.
• Outpatient GI with high patient volume in a multi-specialty group.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD/IBS/liver disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with meds and lifestyle changes.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs for screening/diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate EMR for safety and workflow.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease management.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
