The role offers flexible hours, Monday-Friday, no call, outpatient-focused care in a high-volume GI practice with opportunities for leadership. The compensation ranges from $375,000 to $475,000 per year, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible with a clear path to certification.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Proven ability to grow a local clinical practice is required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough history taking, exams, and interpretation of diagnostics.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group, managing a high-volume GI practice.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease, and biliary diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medications and lifestyle changes.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs for screening and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate EMRs to support workflow and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and oncologists.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease prevention.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
