Job summary

Henderson Group in Nassau County, Long Island, New York, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing, physician-led practice.

This outpatient, high-volume GI role offers flexible hours, Monday-Friday, with no on-call requirements and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualified candidates will provide comprehensive GI care, perform colonoscopies/EGD, and contribute to quality improvement and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Board Certification in Gastroenterology (or Board-eligible with path to certification).
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care as a key clinical provider.
• Conduct history taking, physical exams, and interpret labs/imaging.
• Outpatient-focused role in a multi-specialty group with high-volume GI practice.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans combining pharmacology and lifestyle.
