Job summary

Management Performance Associates in Nassau County, Long Island, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, physician-led group with a stellar reputation for clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive GI care, perform colonoscopies and EGDs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing medical education while enjoying flexible hours and a highly competitive

Qualifications

• Active board certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills; patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality GI care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform history, physicals, and interpret labs/imaging/pathology.
• Outpatient-focused GI practice within a multi-specialty group.
• Diagnose and manage IBD, IBS, liver and biliary diseases.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including medications and lifestyle changes.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs; ensure early GI pathology management.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease prevention.
• Engage in ongoing medical education and practice improvement.
