Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is assisting a well-established physician-led group on Nassau County, Long Island, NY, to recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist.

The role focuses on outpatient GI care within a multidisciplinary team. The physician will perform colonoscopies and EGDs, manage a diverse patient base, and participate in ongoing clinical practice improvements to uphold high standards of GI care.

Qualifications

• Active Board Certification (or Board Eligibility with a clear path to certification) in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a thriving patient base.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider delivering high-quality gastroenterology care.
• Conduct thorough history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic data.
• Outpatient-focused role within a multi-specialty group handling a high-volume patient population.
• Diagnose and manage GI disorders including IBD, IBS, and liver disease.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with pharmacological and lifestyle approaches.
• Perform and interpret colonoscopies and EGDs for early GI pathology detection.
