Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established Nassau County, Long Island practice. The role offers flexible hours, Monday–Friday, with no on-call duties and an outpatient GI focus within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include colonoscopies/EGDs, high-volume GI care, and collaboration with surgeons, oncologists, and PCPs. Compensation is competitive with leadership growth opportunities and EMR support.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology or eligible with clear path.
• Licensed to practice in New York or eligible.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with patient-centered care.
• Ability to grow local practice and leadership interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GI care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs.
• Interpret labs, imaging and pathology results.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with colorectal surgeons, oncologists, PCPs.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and patient safety.
• Outpatient-focused role with high-volume practice.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease management.
• Participate in continuing medical education.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team and care improvements.
