Job summary

Eversource in Massachusetts is seeking a Gas Facilities Estimator to identify requirements, design specs, and cost estimates for underground gas projects.

You will prepare project documents, manage work orders in Maximo, design gas service replacements, and contribute to project feasibility analyses. Travel to MA/CT/NH may be required, and you will use Excel, Primavera P6, and GIS to support cost control and reporting. This is a safety-sensitive role with emphasis on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of directly related experience in gas distribution or underground utility projects.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify requirements and design specs for new and existing gas facilities.
• Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment for underground projects.
• Prepare project documents and work orders in Maximo.
• Design gas service replacements for all projects.
• Review final estimate packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
