Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Project Engineer for Gas Asset Management to support development, expansion, planning, design, maintenance and operation of the gas system. The role focuses on risk assessment, regulatory compliance and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver capital plans and cost control.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of related engineering experience.
• Knowledge of gas distribution construction and maintenance.
• Ability to travel between MA/CT/NH.

Responsibilities

• Understand fundamentals of Gas Asset and Risk Management Program (GARMP).
• Develop and maintain risk mitigation plans in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate resources to complete processes or projects.
• Develop preliminary engineering designs and details.
• Collaborate with other Engineers to ensure consistency and teamwork.
• Develop capital plans (1-year and 5-year) with stakeholders.
• Support budget development and cost tracking.
