Eversource Energy in Massachusetts is seeking an engineer to design and maintain gas distribution systems, regulator stations, and related infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects meet codes and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of engineering experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and travel across MA/CT/NH. A valid driver's license and willingness to participate in emergency response are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Gas experience is preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle operator license required.
• Safety-sensitive position with pre-employment drug test.

Responsabilités

• Designs systems or installations to meet objectives, compliant with codes and standards.
• Assists in planning, development, scheduling, and performance of engineering assignments.
• Performs site layouts and prepares documents for procurement, permitting, and construction.
• Coordinates construction activities with customers, contractors, and internal departments.
• Supports gas distribution restoration efforts during emergencies.
