Job summary

MSR-FSR in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a skilled technician to support bulk and specialty gas systems in semiconductor manufacturing. You will coordinate with tool owners, verify lines, and assist with safety and operability reviews.

The role requires 1–3 years of industrial gas experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to train. You will mentor teammates and help ensure documentation and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED is required.
• Technical college or trade program is preferred.
• Experience operating industrial and/or commercial processing equipment, or gas and chemical systems.
• 1–3 years’ experience with process piping systems in an industrial setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with tool owners to turn on bulk gas systems.
• Perform line verification, confirm pressure tagging, and line opening.
• Support documentation flow and sign-off between tool owners and facilities.
• Troubleshoot gas systems with tool owners and facilities when roadblocks arise.
• Collaborate with teams to meet gas system requirements.
• Propose innovative solutions to challenges.
• Provide technical guidance during client interactions.
• Communicate issues effectively and propose viable solutions.
• Participate in safety and operability reviews.
• Mentor team members and participate in educational programs.
• Understand design, operation, and maintenance of gas systems used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiar with gases such as N2, Ar, He, O2, Cl2, CO, ClF3, SiH4, SiF4, WF6, etc.
