Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics U.S. LP in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Gas Plant Production Technician to safely operate and maintain gas production systems on-site. The role supports 24/7, 365 delivery of high-purity carrier gases and related systems for a semiconductor manufacturer.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (technical degree preferred) and 6+ years of technical operations experience, with availability for extended hours, shifts, and some travel for plant support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• 6+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of process safety management and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Google/Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas processing systems (steam methane reformer, CO2 purification, high-purity helium).
• Monitor plant systems and respond to alarms to ensure 24/7 delivery of high-purity gas.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support for gas production plants and delivery systems.
• Assist in operation, repair, and start-up of equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance and calibration of delivery equipment.
• Support other plants during turnarounds, outages, and commissioning (some travel).
