Job summary

Air Liquide is hiring a Gas Plant Production Technician in Phoenix, AZ to operate, maintain and troubleshoot sulfur methane reformers, CO2 purification and related systems. You will ensure uninterrupted high-purity gas supply for on-site semiconductor manufacturing, with on-call support and safety procedures in place.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with technical training preferred, experience in instrumentation, and strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates degree preferred
• Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems desired
• Ability to use computers; knowledge of Google and Microsoft software

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot steam methane reformer and CO2 purification systems
• Monitor plant systems and respond to alarms to ensure 24/7 delivery of high-purity gas
• Provide 24-hour on-call support for gas production and delivery systems
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair and assist in drafting operating procedures
