Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks a plant operator to run compressors, motors, and related gas processing equipment at our Texas facilities. The role centers on safe, cost-effective operation within gas processing and treating units.

You will monitor pressures, temperatures, flow, and levels; respond to alarms; perform routine maintenance; and support safety programs and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment including compressors, pumps and valves in a safe and compliant manner.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to achieve target operating results.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective action as needed.
• Support safety programs and regulatory compliance; participate in LOTO and other procedures.
• Coordinate with control centers and third parties for maintenance activities.
