Job summary

Energy Transfer in Robeline, LA is hiring a Plant Operator to run compressors, motors, pumps, dehydrators, and related gas processing equipment. You will ensure efficient, compliant operation of plants and pipelines, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work 24/7, with rotating shifts. Driving license required; MS Office and HIMI software experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in a group environment.
• Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work independently and exercise good judgement.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, shift rotations, and perform call outs.
• Must react to high stress/emergency situations calmly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and systems at plant facilities.
• Seek to optimize processing by maintaining proper product specifications.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective measures.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to achieve desired results.
• Maintain compliance with environmental standards and reporting.
• Participate in safety programs and communicate with control centers.
• Oversee third-party construction/maintenance activities.
• May perform lab tests for quality assurance and assist other staff.
• May monitor field compressor status via SCADA.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
