Hilcorp Energy on the North Slope in Alaska seeks a skilled operations technician to monitor, operate, and maintain gas processing and reinjection facilities. The role requires ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across pumps, valves, turbines, and control systems.

You will work a 14-on/14-off schedule in Arctic conditions, implement SPCC and LOTO procedures, and train junior staff while coordinating with the ERT during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of oilfield experience.
• Willing to work a 14/14 day rotation on 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Experience with gas processing and reinjection facilities preferred.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset.

Responsabilités

• Inspects equipment for safety concerns, leaks, wear, and damage; troubleshoots and recommends repairs.
• Generates repair requests for malfunctioning equipment and safety systems.
• Procures materials and supplies to complete daily tasks.
• Completes readings, flare reports, tank inspections, and safety equipment inspections.
• Maintains a logbook with process status and operating adjustments.
