Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company seeks an experienced oilfield operator to monitor and operate gas processing, NGL production, and gas reinjection systems. You will handle 12-hour rotations on a 14/14 schedule, perform safety inspections, and maintain detailed logs.

Strong independence and problem-solving are essential in Arctic conditions. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, SPCC compliance, LOTO procedures, and safe operation of process equipment with the DCS (AVEVA).

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of oilfield experience.
• Willing to work a 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair process and safety equipment.
• Demonstrates independent work and initiative.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate operating records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment for safety, leaks, wear, and damage and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Generate repair requests for malfunctioning equipment.
• Procure materials and supplies for daily tasks.
• Complete readings, flare reports, tank inspections, and safety inspections.
• Maintain logbooks with process status and operations notes.
