Hilcorp Energy Company in Alaska is seeking an on-site facility operator to monitor and operate pumps, compressors, valves and tank levels, ensuring safe, reliable production in challenging arctic conditions.

You will follow policies, inspect field equipment, record readings, maintain logs, and respond to alarms. This role requires ability to work a 14-on/14-off 12-hour shift and nights, with minimal supervision and strong safety mindset.

Qualificações

• Two years minimum oilfield experience.
• Willingness to work 14 on/14 off, 12-hour shift schedule.
• Willingness to work nights.
• Requires minimal supervision for routine duties.
• Understand Prudhoe Bay operations and how components fit together.
• Ability to work unsupervised, anticipate and prevent problems.
• Operate the facility safely while keeping neat, accurate records.
• Direct and train others as needed.
• Remain aware of simultaneous field activities.
• Recognize non-standard conditions and report findings.
• Basic math and mechanical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in arctic conditions.
• North Slope Alaska experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and inspect facility/field equipment to ensure it is maintained and in good/safe operating condition.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality is maximized
• Report all operational and maintenance issues to supervision immediately (leaks, unusual noises, and smells)
• Maintain the work area clean, safe, and organized
• Shuts down equipment, following supervisor’s instructions, in case of an emergency.
• On-call availability for questions or emergencies
• Maintain detailed logbooks and records for reporting
• May work at multiple fields as required
• Adhere to SPCC and safety policies
