Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company on Alaska's North Slope seeks an experienced field operator to monitor and control gas processing, NGL production, and reinjection systems. The role involves inspecting equipment for safety, leaks, and wear; starting and stopping process units; and maintaining accurate operating records in a remote Arctic environment.

The position requires a minimum of five years of oilfield experience, ability to work in extreme conditions, and a 14/14 rotation with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years oilfield experience.
• Experience with gas processing or North Slope operations preferred.
• Ability to work in Arctic conditions.
• Strong safety and record-keeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor equipment; identify leaks, wear, and damage.
• Operate gas processing and reinjection systems per SOPs.
• Maintain logs, flare reports, and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and train less experienced staff.
