Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a field-based role to monitor daily operations of our natural gas pipeline systems and manage the company’s damage prevention program. You will locate facilities, patrol pipelines, document activities, and coordinate local activities to protect assets and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities include working with landowners and officials, training personnel, and completing project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience reading construction drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of P&IDs or similar diagrams is required.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with internal and external customers.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark facilities per damage prevention program and one-call procedures.
• Perform pipeline patrols, leak surveys, and inspections.
• Coordinate local damage prevention activities.
• Oversee excavation-related projects to protect assets and ensure compliance.
• Complete documentation such as site photos, tickets, and as-builts.
