Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Pipeline Technician (Line Patroller) at the Fairburn compressor station to protect critical natural gas assets in GA. The role blends pipeline operations, locating utilities, and right-of-way monitoring with a focus on safety and public protection.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipeline maintenance or excavation is preferred.
• Ability to write concise daily activity records and reports.
• Knowledge of compressor stations and transmission pipelines is preferred.
• Ability to work safely with flammable gases and high/low pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark facilities prior to excavation per program.
• Document all daily activities and required tasks in writing.
• Perform pipeline patrols and inspections per procedures.
• Coordinate local Damage Prevention activities.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper reporting.
• Represent the company with landowners and officials as needed.
