Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking personnel to perform and coordinate inspection, patrol, and excavation oversight for gas/liquids pipelines and related facilities in Texas. You will locate and mark facilities, conduct patrols and leak surveys, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.

The role involves contractor oversight, documentation, and interaction with landowners and public officials. Required is a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel and work shift hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark facilities per Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures.
• Perform pipeline patrols, leak detection surveys and inspections.
• Coordinate local Damage Prevention activities.
• Oversee safety and regulatory compliance during excavation near facilities.
• Maintain documentation, as-built drawings, and contractor oversight.
• Communicate with landowners, officials, and at local meetings.
• Train company and third party personnel as required.
• Perform PHMSA, state, EPA, and other regulatory activities.
• Map, record-keep, and data entry per company policies.
