Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Student Intern to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas in North America.

The role offers hands-on experience with compressor equipment, field maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational procedures under supervision. You will work alongside experienced technicians, participate in field projects and inspections, and develop practical technical skills that support safe energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited mechanical, chemical, pipeline, automation, or related technical/trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027 start date.
• Returning to full-time studies after the term.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while upholding TC Energy's values: Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, Active Learning.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
• Gain hands-on experience with field tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Learn and apply safety protocols for field work.
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision.
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills for a field technician role.
