Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is offering a Student Intern position for May 2027 through August 2027 to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. You will gain hands-on experience with natural gas compression equipment and field maintenance under supervision.

This internship emphasizes safety, practical skill development, and collaboration with experienced technicians, preparing you for a career in energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical/trades program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while upholding TC Energy's core values of Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, and Active Learning
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment
• Gain hands-on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures
• Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills applicable to a field technician role
