Job summary

Xcel Energy in Brighton, Colorado is offering a summer internship to support Gas Operations Technical Specialists. The intern will clean SAP reports, gather standards data, and help develop SOPs, working with foremen and senior staff. The position starts May 31, 2027 and may extend based on performance and business needs.

Hybrid in-person work with potential for remote tasks, depending on policy. Ideal candidates are ABET‑accredited engineering or business students with strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher (as of Fall 2027) enrolled in ABET-accredited program pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering.
• Minimal travel across the state.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week).
