Job summary

Xcel Energy is offering an internship to support Gas Operations Technical Specialists and Brighton operations. You will help develop SOPs, clean up SAP reports, and assist with compliance-based maintenance planning.

You will collaborate with foremen and senior team members to resolve open notifications. Ideal candidates are current ABET-accredited students pursuing Business or Engineering degrees, able to work full-time in the summer or part-time during the school year, with strong Microsoft

Qualifications

Current student enrolled in an ABET-accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering.
Junior or higher as of Fall 2027.
Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commute to the designated work location, per our hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

Support GOTS & Brighton operations by developing SOPs and cleaning up reports for compliance-based maintenance plans.
Work with the foreman and senior team members to clean up open notifications.
Clean up SAP reports and gather information for Standards.
Develop SOPs and maintain documentation.
