Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc. seeks a summer intern in Colorado to support data and invoicing review, ensure paperwork readiness, and filing tasks. The role emphasizes effective team communication and collaboration with the gas admin and leadership teams.

The internship starts May 31, 2027, with potential extension based on performance and business needs. Candidates should be current students pursuing a Business degree, eligible for full-time summer hours and part-time during the school year, with in-person

Qualifications

• Current student, Freshman or higher (as of Fall 2027).
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) / part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person per our hybrid work policy.

Responsibilities

• Data review
• Invoicing review
• Checking websites to ensure job related paperwork is ready
• Filing paperwork
• Communicating effectively with the team and stakeholders
• Assist with job closeout packages reviewing packages and ensuring all information is attached and invoices charged against the Work Order
