Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Gas Operations Supervisor to oversee gas operations facilities, maintenance, and projects. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable service while coordinating with teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of gas systems, and ability to manage budgets and safety programs within a regulated environment in Western Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas operations systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with project management and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with GIS/SAP applications and standard software.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair of gas operations facilities and related projects.
• Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor work; coordinate with external sources as needed.
• Inspect jobs for safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs/regulations.
• Monitor contractor activities and project expenses; approve invoices.
• Ensure safe work methods and follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Act as liaison for audits and investigations; manage budgets and overtime.
