Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, seeks an O&M Supervisor for the South Region (Ginger Hill, Greensburg, Waynesburg) to oversee gas operations facilities maintenance, repair, and restoration, ensuring safe, reliable service and regulatory compliance.

You will plan and coordinate work, supervise staff, monitor budgets, and liaise during audits. Requirements: 5+ years in gas ops, 1 year of leadership, strong regulatory knowledge and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in gas operations.
• Minimum of 1 year leadership experience.
• Understanding of PUC, CFR and/or DOT regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or similar preferred.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, repair, and restoration of gas operations facilities.
• Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor work for projects and outages.
• Inspect jobs and provide safety observations, including vehicle maintenance.
• Resolve design problems and material discrepancies.
• Monitor contractor activities and project expenses; approve invoices.
• Ensure safe methods and compliance with SOPs and regs.
• Act as contact for audits and investigations.
• Manage budget goals, spend, and overtime within limits.
• Provide safety training and development for employees and contractors.
• Supervise productivity and performance of direct reports.
