Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, is hiring for an O&M Supervisor in the South Region (Ginger Hill, Greensburg, Waynesburg). This role oversees gas operations facilities maintenance, safety, and reliability in a 4x10 schedule, 12 PM–10 PM.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in gas ops and at least 1 year of leadership. Qualifications include understanding of PUC, CFR and/or DOT regulations, strong project management, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in gas operations or other related industry experience.
• Minimum of 1 year leadership experience or advancing leadership duties.
• Understanding of PUC, CFR and/or DOT regulations.
• Demonstrated success in leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in systems and project management.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, repair and restoration of gas operations facilities.
• Plan, schedule, assign and monitor the work of others and coordinate with outside sources as needed.
• Perform pre/post inspections and safety observations; ensure SOPs and regulations are followed.
• Monitor contractor activities and project expenses; review invoices.
• Provide training and development for employees and contractors; ensure safe operations.
