Job summary

The Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking an O&M Supervisor for the South Region (Ginger Hill, Greensburg, Waynesburg). The role covers supervision of gas operations facilities, planning, safety, and reliability commitments in a 4x10, 12PM-10PM schedule.

You will lead a team, monitor budgets and contractor activities, ensure regulatory compliance (PUC, CFR, DOT), and coordinate with audits and safety programs while advancing operational excellence in a dynamic utility environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in gas operations.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
• Understanding of PUC, CFR and/or DOT regulations.
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance, repair and/or restoration of gas operations facilities, including projects, resource management, and safety compliance.
• Plan, schedule, assign and monitor the work of others during regular, outage, and emergency situations.
• Pre/post inspect jobs; provide safety observations and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor contractor activities and project expenses; review invoices.
• Ensure proper work methods and safety SOPs are followed; comply with regulations.
• Act as point of contact for audits and investigations; monitor budgets and overtime.
