Job summary

Peoples, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Gas Operations Supervisor to lead maintenance and repair of gas facilities in Western Pennsylvania. You’ll coordinate projects, outages, and safety compliance while partnering with teams to deliver reliable service.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and knowledge of PUC/CFR/DOT regulations, with experience in GIS, SAP and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas operations or related industry.
• Minimum of 1 year leadership experience or advancing leadership duties.
• Understanding of PUC, CFR and/or DOT regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance and repair of gas operations facilities and related projects.
• Plan, schedule, assign and monitor work; coordinate outages and emergencies.
• Ensure safety, SOP compliance and regulatory adherence in daily operations.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and contractor activities; review invoices.
