Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support field operations related to safe and reliable natural gas transportation. You will gain hands-on experience with compressors, maintenance, troubleshooting and field procedures while working alongside experienced technicians.

You will participate in site visits and inspections, applying academic knowledge to real-world projects and building practical skills for a future career in energy operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited technical program related to mechanical, chemical, pipeline or automation fields.
• Has completed at least one academic term prior to May 2027 and plans to return to full-time study after the term.
• Interest in safe field operations and hands-on troubleshooting with natural gas equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while upholding company safety values.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of compressors and related equipment.
• Gain hands-on experience with field tools, equipment and procedures.
• Learn safety protocols and apply them in field work.
• Participate in site visits, inspections and project activities under supervision.
• Develop technical and problem-solving skills for a field technician role.
